LOOKING TO RACE IN 2018?

By karlbowdrey, Feb 2 2018 08:15AM

With the start of the 2018 season nearly upon us various teams have drive options avalible ahead of the opening round at Silverstone.

The series opens at the home of British Motorsport as the championship returns to Silverstone on the national configuration of the circuit, paired with the TCR UK series and their inaugural meeting. The series then heads to Rockingham to join with the British GT championship on the challenging banked turns, before continuing with the GT’s to Snetterton for round five and six of the championship.

Brands Hatch is next on the calendar as the series heads to Kent for Deutchfest, the all German VW Festival before taking a trip overseas with the return of the famous Spa Francorchamps rounds accompanying the British GT once more. The championship is set to then recouple with TCR UK as it heads to Oulton Park and Croft before the season concludes at Donington Park back with British GT.

For 2018 the Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup for the first time will incorporate a second class onto its grid in the form of a field of lower spec Volkswagen group cars, running a control tread tyre, similar to class B cars in the series’ sister championship, the Maximumgroup.net VAG Trophy, which is set to merge with the Volkswagen Cup in 2018. This class will have a separate points system and will be grid separate to the main field, bringing some diverse cars and close racing to the package.

Once again for 2018 the championship will feature TV coverage and endless press opportunity’s.

Hospitality for 2018 will be hosted and managed from the championship directly. With recent investment in a brand new Hospitality unit from which for the first time will be managed directly from the championship ensuring consistency over the seasons moving forward.

2018 is poised to be one of the strongest years for the championship to date so if you’re currently looking for a drive or with to speak with any of our team managers please get in touch with them to see what they can offer you on the details below.
